Athens Electric: Drake Chamberlin owns Athens Electric. He is one of the pioneers of solar photovoltaics in the United States. He has written articles for Home Power Magazine and is a member of the prestigious RE Wrench List. He installed one of the first utility company solar systems in Colorado, for Public Service Company (Xcel Energy). Drake has been an electrical contractor for over 25 years and solar system designer-installer for 20 years. He has combined his knowledge and experience in electrical contracting with his love of solar photovoltaics to give best-of-breed solutions in solar energy production. Drake is personally involved in each phase of every Athens Electric solar PV system.
Erica Magnus is a freelance artist/designer/illustrator who has recently returned to Athens County. With an extensive art background in a wide range of styles, mediums and applied arts, Erica has provided high quality finished work for her clients around the country and abroad, as well as for the publishing and entertainment industries of NYC and LA. She began collaborating with writers and producers in 2006 on graphic novel projects from original scripts and stories first in LA. and is now working on another graphic novel project with an international team by developing their story’s visual design, and the look of each character. The STUDIO is dedicated to Erica’s ongoing projects as well as providing an excellent source of visual production services to Southeastern Ohio’s new and established businesses.
Natalie Horvath is a local potter that attended Hocking College and Ohio University. Her business, Horvath Pottery, was started in 2016 and works in a range of ceramics from raku, wood fire to standard firing. https://www.instagram.com/horvathpottery/
