Athens Electric: Drake Chamberlin owns Athens Electric. He is one of the pioneers of solar photovoltaics in the United States. He has written articles for Home Power Magazine and is a member of the prestigious RE Wrench List. He installed one of the first utility companies, Solar Systems in Colorado, for Public Service Company (Xcel Energy). Drake has been an electrical contractor for over 25 years and a solar system designer-installer for 20 years. He has combined his knowledge and experience in electrical contracting with his love of solar photovoltaics to give best-of-breed solutions in solar energy production. Drake is personally involved in every Athens Electric solar PV system phase.
